Our main success in this movie was getting all the clips to work together in a nice cohesive sequence. We were also really happy that we got the geography of the school to make sense even though we shot majority of these shots completely out of order! Another great success was how much fun we had! It was exciting to get out into the field and run around campus trying to come up with interesting shots.

The only failures we really faced were trying to sync up the music just right in order to create the effects we wanted. We were please with the film even before we added the music so it was a bit of a challenge to add it and ensure that it fit just right.

What I mostly learned from making this is that it IS possible to go out there with a simple little device, two people and a little bit of time and make an movie! It ended up being a pretty entertaining little project and it was EASY and FUN to make!

Margot and I had a great time making this film. We begun with the concept of having Margot run awroud campus crazily. This would ensure an exciting film full of movement, and the end product reflects that intention.
Our process consisted of choosing a set, deciding on the action, determining the frame, and then filming. When we had collected a few clips, we decided to write down all of our shots so we wouldn't forget what we had done and could also begin to think of some kind of order and narrative these clips could yield.
We edited the film on iMovie, and were able manage the software pretty easily. Most of our work in the editing process included trimming clips, stripping the volume, adding music, title credits, etc.
Our movie is successful because it has a clear story line, a rhythmic pattern between slow and fast scenes, and some interesting attempts at alternative camera angels and shots.
The final scene could have been tighter rather than filming it all in one take. The movement was a little shaky.
