The Social Network, Olivia Tucker

The social network was all around a good movie but nothing too special. The music selection and the lighting in every scene was very good and made it more enjoyable to watch but the portrayal of college was not very realistic. The parties where all the girls are gorgeous and half naked and the clubs being so exclusive and popular is not exactly how college is. Also, it didn't help that the main character played by Jesse Eisenberg is an all around annoying character/actor. Although in his other movies such as Zombieland and Adventureland he was much more annoying because of all his rambling and social awkwardness. But in this movie it was more excepted because he was playing such an unbelievably smart character his social awkwardness was expected. Essentially I thought the filming, the lighting, the music and the all around smoothness of the movie was better than the plot. Also the characters were very relatable from the push over friend, Eduardo, to the "super cool" friend Sean parker who always talk you into things. Also the main character was relatable because I've met people just like him who think that just because they're very smart they can get away with being a mean person.
